Please note: Courageous Presence workshops are not currently being offered. The information below reflects a program that was successfully offered in the past and continues to influence my work today.
Courageous Presence was a personal and professional development program to bring conversations about courage, vulnerability, self-compassion, and wholehearted living to communities throughout Chicago.
Inspired by the work of Brené Brown, Kristin Neff, and others, the program combined education, reflection, experiential exercises, and group discussion to help participants develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and authentic connection.
Workshop topics included:
- Healthy Boundaries
- Self-Compassion and Empathy
- Authenticity and Creativity
- Vulnerability
- Courage
- Worthiness
- Shame and Shame Resilience
Throughout these workshops, participants explored the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that often limit growth and connection. Together, we identified new perspectives and practices that supported more authentic, courageous, and wholehearted living.
The success of Courageous Presence reinforced my belief that growth happens when self-awareness is combined with compassion, courage, and meaningful action—principles that continue to guide my work in psychotherapy, coaching, and community engagement today.
